How can I use my bonus?
***For mBTC – all references to cash amounts will be calculated with the mBTC market equivalent***
When a bonus is in play, knowing how your funds are used as you bet is much easier than you think. Your Withdrawable, Locked and Bonus amounts make up your Bodog.io account balance, which remains visible at the top of any page.
First, check to see which type of bonus you have?
- Deposit/Match Bonuses (requires deposit).
- Cash/No Deposit bonuses (deposit not required)
Certain bonuses can only be used on some games in the Casino. This is specified in the 'Bonus Description' along with the rollover or playthrough requirement.
Deposit Bonus
When you redeem a deposit/match bonus, your deposit amount will be locked until the playthrough requirement on your bonus is completed. The deposit amount reflects in your Locked Balance and the bonus amount reflects in your Bonus Balance.
When you place a bet, funds are deducted from your account in the following order:

For example:
You have a Withdrawal Balance of 20.00 from previous winnings. You deposit 100 on your account and claim a 50% match bonus. You receive 50 in bonus funds.
Your Account Balances will look like this:
- Available to Witdraw: 20.00
- Bonus Funds: 50.00
- Locked Funds: 100.00
When you place a 16.20 bet on your favorite slots game, the funds are removed from your Withdrawable Balance first as follows:
- Available to Witdraw: 3.80 (20.00 -16.20)
- Bonus Funds: 50.00
- Locked Funds: 100.00
If your bet’s risked amount exceeds the Withdrawable Balance, the difference is taken from the next balance in the above-mentioned order.
For example:
You want to win bigger, so you bet 31.20 instead. Since you only have 20.00 in your Withdrawable balance, the difference will be subtracted from your next available balance - Locked Funds - as shown below:
- Available to Witdraw: 0.00 (20.00 - 20.00)
- Bonus Funds: 50.00
- Locked Funds: 88.80 (100.00 - the remaing 11.20)
Winnings generated from bets are distributed proportionately to the corresponding balances used.
Cash/No-Deposit Bonus
When you redeem a Cash/No-Deposit bonus, the bonus amount reflects in your Bonus Balance. Unless a deposit bonus is already active, the Locked Balance remains nil.
When you place a bet, funds are deducted from your account in the following order:

For example:
You receive a cash bonus of 30.00. You have a Withdrawable Balance of 148.80 from previous winnings.
Your Account Balance will look like this:
- Available to Witdraw: 148.80
- Bonus Funds: 30.00
You place a 10.00 bet on your favorite slots game, the funds will be removed from your Bonus Balance first, as follows:
- Available to Witdraw: 148.80
- Bonus Funds: 20.00 (30.00 - 10.00)
If your bet’s risked amount exceeds the Bonus Balance, the difference is taken from the next balance in the above-mentioned order.
For example:
This time you bet 76.80 instead. Since you only have 30.00 in your Bonus Balance, the difference will be subtracted from your next available balance (Withdrawable Funds), as shown below:
- Available to Witdraw: 102.80 (148.80 - remaining 46.80)
- Bonus Funds: 0.00 (30.00 - 30.00)
Winnings generated from bets are distributed proportionately to the corresponding balances used.
